The Roadmap ERP's Operational Costing module is designed to bring about the most efficient way of Costing your Product when its manufacturing process involves bringing together two or more types of components, wherein, some aspects are comprised of homogeneous material, while the remaining involve materials that are in one way or many different from each other. This is actualized by assigning Process Costing method to appraise the cost of components that are homogeneous in nature; and assigning Job Costing method to cost the components that are not identical to each other. Thus, the module offers a smart mix of Costing procedures to bring about accuracy in projecting the production cost of your Products, however complex may be their manufacturing methods.

These costs can be summed up divided among the total number of homogeneous units produced to arrive at individual unit cost, and thereby determine the competitive costing of your products.

By costing the components that are different from each other, by adding up job-wise costs of Direct Labor, Direct Material, and Overheads; and by aptly projecting the result against the Equivalent Units of Production (EUP) factor; the module efficiently arrives at the accurate costing of your products.
